Infosys is looking for Industry Principal - SAP Logistics

As an Industry Principal, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and make recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts, implement the solution and the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications for Industry Principal - SAP Logistics Consultant

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  
  


• At least 13 years of experience with Information Technology.
  
  


• Location for this position is Irvine CA. This position may require travel and or relocation.

Preferred Qualifications for Industry Principal - SAP Logistics

• Should have 13 years of hands on experience in SAP Logistics modules including extensive experience in large transformation programs.
  
  


• Demonstrate thought leadership and drive decision making
  
  


• Ability to manage CXO level client stake holders
  
  


• Good knowledge of Sales Order Processing, Delivery Execution, Invoicing, Milestone billing, pricing procedures, taxes.
  
  


• Should have thorough understanding of end-to-end logistics process (Material Management, Warehouse Management, Production Planning, Quality Management etc.) in manufacturing industry.
  
  


• Work with a diverse team spread across locations
  
  


• Manage & deliver large transformation programs
  
  


• Should be able to handle requirement gathering, blue printing, design, configuration, functional testing, data migration, test data setup for UAT etc.
  
  


• Able to analyze business requirements, provide conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, perform necessary SAP configurations, write detail functional specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution, work with ABAP team for development and testing
  
  


• Ability to read ABAP codes is required.
  
  


• Knowledge of S/4HANA is a must. Certification preferred.
  
  


• Good communication and interpersonal skills; Should be able to affectively interact with the customer and project teams.
  
  


• Should have good analytical skills and Planning / Co-ordination skills.
  
  


• Experience in project management
  
  

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
