We are now looking for Sr. Deep Learning Bioinformatics Scientist:

As a deep learning bioinformatics scientist, you will join a team passionate about bioinformatics, AI, and high performance computing. This position provides the opportunity to research, implement, productize, and deliver deep learning based algorithms for a wide range of biotechnologies. Together, we will advance NVIDIA's capacity to build digital biology solutions.

What you will be doing:

• Prototype and build data processing pipelines and deep learning algorithms for biological data
  
  


• Collaborate with multiple AI infrastructure and research teams
  
  


• Drive the testing and maintenance of the algorithms and software modules
  
  


• Develop tools to assist data processing, data quality control, algorithm development, and algorithm testing
  
  

What we need to see:

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Computational Biology, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  
  


• 8+ years of relevant experience
  
  


• Strong experience with Python and/or C++
  
  


• Expertise in applied deep learning and machine learning
  
  


• Expertise in bioinformatics and processing of sequencing data
  
  


• Experience with one or more deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow
  
  


• Recognized for technical leadership contributions, capable of self-direction, and ability to learn from and teach others
  
  


• You should display strong communication skills, be organized and self-motivated, and play well with others (be a phenomenal teammate)
  
  

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience applying deep learning to biological data at large scale
  
  


• Experience with C++/CUDA programming

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires that NVIDIA provide the compensation range and benefits offered for this position if performed in Colorado. The base salary range for this position in Colorado is $162,000.00 - 222,750.00 USD.
