As a settlement administrator, we are responsible for notifying potential class members, reviewing and processing claim forms filed by individuals and entities, calculating losses, auditing claims to determine the extent of the damages incurred and processing and distributing funds to eligible class members under the court's direction.

The Position

The Senior Analyst will join the banking team, supporting a Manager and/or Senior Manager. Together, they will provide consistent superior client service and also support for the project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communications, be consultative and solution-oriented, have an understanding of financial analyses and reporting, be capable of managing a budget and is able to meet deadlines that are self-imposed or set by the Courts. The Senior Analyst must be a team player, committed to fostering a team environment and building cooperation between team members to provide the highest quality service to clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Project Management -Supervises junior analysts.

  • Project Execution - Consistently meet project requirements (attend kick-off meetings, prepare reconciliations of settlement funds, review and research distribution issues, assist project teams with addressing class member questions and requests regarding distributions, prepare documents and/or assist project teams with reports required for various tax filings, deadline management, and other necessary project communication), delivering project deliverables on time, within budget and at the highest quality standards.

  • Research & Communication - Research distribution inquiries and appropriately communicate findings with clients, claimants, and/or other operational departments, research process issues and effectively communicate with project teams and vendors or claimants as necessary

  • Reporting & Documentation - Provide project reporting and summaries, perform analysis of reporting, draft communications, and ensure quality assurance. Communicate with claimants and assist interact with banking institutions as necessary. Specific tasks may include: Drafting project telephone scripts and website text, developing business rules for payments, and preparing tax documents and payments.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • College degree or comparable work experience required.
  • Experience working in claims administration or a closely-related field strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team-based fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, calm demeanor.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
