RH is seeking a Gerber Fabric Cutter Operator who is responsible for cutting and handling fabric to be used in the production of outdoor cushions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
Cut layers of fabric into parts for outdoor cushions
Spread fabric on machine table preparatory to cutting and engages the cradle so the machine automatically pulls fabric as the parts are processed
Enter correct information into computer according to cutting specifications, ensures proper operation is being performed, and starts the machine to cut the fabric
Scan the ticket into the tracking system when the cushion is completed
Mark appropriate places on the fabric as required by style
Retrieve additional fabric from the fabric storage area if needed
Separate cutting waste, unloads cut fabric parts from table and bundles cut pieces together
Observe all plant safety rules
OUR REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience operating Gerber Automated Cutting Machine in high quality upholstery furniture manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication with clients, associates, and fellow Leaders
Ability to work independently
Team player with an enthusiastic outlook and creative mind
Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism
Effectively manage multiple projects and complete tasks in a timely manner
Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
Detail-oriented and uphold brand integrity
Experience in analyzing and solving escalated and complex situations
