Overview

Arts and Science is seeking an experienced Associate Dean to lead faculty advancement for the school. The incumbent will support the Dean of Arts and Science and the divisional deans in the administration of faculty advancement, including full time faculty recruitment, retention, promotion and tenure, third year reviews and retirements.

Required Education:
Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration or related field

Preferred Education:
Doctoral Degree

Required Experience:
10+ years progressively responsible managerial experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience with University administration, budget administration, and supervising staff.

Preferred Experience:
Some legal background.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated analytical and writing skills. Ability to negotiate with all levels of faculty and administration. Familiarity with computers and database management
