Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Medallion Midstream is one of the fastest-growing pipeline companies in the Permian Basin area. Our organization is seeking a Project Manager (PM) that will be responsible for the development, funding, and execution of capital projects that will sustain the growth and daily operations of new and existing assets in the Permian and Delaware Basins.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with Operations and Business Development to assure that system restrictions are identified early and that efficient, cost-effective solutions are designed and implemented.


• Participate in the development of engineering standards, best practices, and other technical initiatives.


• Support the design, planning, and execution of multiple expansion projects.


• Develop budgetary cost estimates in support of business development initiatives.


• Create AFE estimates, project schedules, and progress tracking for each assignment.


• Oversee the development of detailed bid packages for pipeline and facilities construction work.


• Support construction groups during the project construction phase.


• Oversee outside engineering and construction activity in support of project execution.


• Create material specifications, datasheets, and RFQ's for materials and equipment.


• Perform basic hydraulic and process calculations to support engineering decisions.


• Communicate regularly with management to give project statuses, and with Operations to facilitate understanding of their needs.


• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and supervisors to teach and solve problems.

Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in related engineering field


• 5+ years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications


• Experience with the basic function and equipment of oil and gas gathering stations


• Familiarity with DOT, ASME, PSM regulations, codes, and standards


• A valid driver's license, and up to 50% travel during construction phases


• Experience in startup/commissioning is preferred
