Job Description


The Construction Coordinator will be stationed in the Las Vegas office and will be responsible for performing the following:



  • Assist in the development, planning, analysis, evaluation, and prioritization of project objectives and requirements.

  • Perform periodic reviews of the project plans, technical documents, and analyze for adherence to the SOW.

  • Assist with capturing sub-contractor project proposals, cost and schedule reporting, accruals and invoicing.

  • Support the company President, Regional Manager and Project Managers with processing reports, RFI's, submittals, and other related documents.

  • Manage projects database and ensure relevant project data is filed.

  • Conduct coordination and execution of project start-up and close-out processes.

  • Assist Project Managers in development of project schedules, resource plans, and budgets during the proposal and construction phase.

  • Prepare and update weekly project schedule in Microsoft Project or Excel.

  • Coordinate and track meetings with government and subcontractors.

  • Assists in the identification of new viable subcontractors and suppliers of project materials and equipment.

  • Administration of all required paperwork and permits required for each project.

  • Prepare bid comparison spreadsheets, contract documents and change orders.

  • Create project budgets and update as change orders are processed.

  • Ensure management is made aware of any discrepancies or challenges immediately, by identifying the problem and providing solutions.



    Qualifications



    • High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree preferred.

    • 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a project support role.

    • Knowledge of U.S. Military and/or government construction requirements is strongly desired.

    • Understanding of and assists in the enforcement of all regulatory, base and company specific safety rules.

    • Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow procedures and schedules, and prioritize multiple tasks.

    • High degree of sensitivity and ability to maintain confidential client and employee information.

    • Works with minimal supervision.

    • Proficiency with MS Office products as well as Adobe or Blue Beam.

    • Ability to work in a team environment and fit in with company culture and processes.

    • Effective professional oral and written communication skills.

    • Must possess a strong work ethic and values that are above-reproach.

    • Strong organizational, interpersonal skills.

    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
