May Institute is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Behavior Therapists who want to make a positive difference in the lives of children and adolescents diagnosed with autism or developmental disabilities. In this position you will work directly with children, teaching them communication, social, and play skills. This instruction will occur in the natural context of a child's home, school, or other community setting. You will be trained in state-of-the-art instruction based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and receive supervision from an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

This is an exciting opportunity to:


  • Implement individually designed behavior and skills training programs to children with developmental disabilities

  • Learn how to record and analyze meaningful data to track progress and effectiveness of program

  • Utilize graphing software to effectively map growth and progress of child

  • Graph data to illustrate progress over time

  • Be an integral part of a clinical team

We are looking for someone who has:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • A budding interest in Psychology (special education?) and looking to gain experience in the field

  • An interest in working with children and adolescents who have developmental disabilities
