Position Summary:

Level Two- CMM inspectors demonstrate an expert ability to operate CMM scanners, produce reports and recommend corrective actions to manufacturing and production personnel. In addition, level two CMM inspectors demonstrate an ability to program CMM scanners as well as develop inspection processes and inspection tooling. Typically 5+ years of experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate CMM machines to validate product dimension to customer specification


• Work with NC programmers to develop CMM Programs

Required Skills:

• Full CMM setup, operation and programming


• Advanced proficiency in print reading and digital model manipulation


• Advanced competencies in mechanical inspection techniques


• Advanced proficiency in required software (MS Suite, CATIA, PC-DMIS, etc.)

Required Experience:

• Evidence of successfully performing level one and CMM Inspector tasks in the aerospace industry for at least three years.


• Typically 5+ years of related experience is required for this role

Level of Education:

• GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
