Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator, Employee Solutions serves on a team established to provide highly responsive, individualized, and prompt support for employee questions and concerns. The Human Resources Coordinator, Employee Solutions is responsible for providing timely and accurate answers to employee questions and effective solutions to workplace concerns, including internal investigations, as needed. The Human Resources Coordinator, Employee Solutions is also responsible for completing various centralized HR processes and tasks as well as supporting HR initiatives and projects assigned to the employee solutions team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Provide timely, accurate, and helpful responses to general employee questions.
  • Develop supportive and trusting relationships with employees by holding office hours, attending team meetings and events, and seeking informal opportunities for connection and relationship-building.

  • Support and periodically lead resolution of routine employee concerns using creative problem-solving and an emphasis on communication and compromise.

  • Support internal investigations primarily through scheduling, notetaking, and gathering information.

  • Conduct investigation questioning, draft conclusion summaries, communicate conclusions, and take lead role for more routine investigations.

  • Complete various routine HR processes in an accurate, timely, and legally compliant manner.

  • Help support Company initiatives and other special projects.

  • Provide highly responsive, accountable, accurate, and timely service to internal customer groups.

  • Protect confidential information with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care.

  • Comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

  • Apply strong interpersonal skills; including, but not limited to, approachability and the ability to build relationships.

  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.

  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.

  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 75% of a typical working day.

  • Ability and means to travel between multiple Exact Sciences locations within the same general geographic area.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or field relevant to the essential duties of the role such as Business Administration, Industrial or Labor Relations, Psychology, or Human Sciences; or Associates Degree in Human Resources or field relevant to the essential duties of the role such as Business Administration, Industrial or Labor Relations, Psychology, or Human Sciences and 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

  • Computer skills to include internet navigation, email usage, and word processing.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications


  • 1+ years of experience conducting internal investigations.

  • 1+ years of relevant human resources experience.

  • Employment law knowledge.
