What you'll do

We are seeking an experienced e-commerce professional to help with our expanding digital commerce initiative. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with 3-5 years of experience administering Magento or a comparable electronic commerce platform.

Responsibilities and Duties

    Maintain product catalog, including updated versions, new products and retirement of old products.
  • Work with Product Management to maintain pricing, descriptions and other product attributes.

  • Set up new e-commerce accounts including roles and privileges.

  • Manage e-commerce related tasks including data analysis, report creation and daily orders monitoring.

  • Site configuration including location, contact, store information, etc.

  • Have great attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, prioritize escalations and communication with a sense of urgency.

  • Collaborate with external web team to optimize buying paths from the corporate web site to the store.

  • Work with internal Salesforce and ERP teams to ensure that data flows effectively to those systems.

  • Manage discounts, promotions and coupons within the e-commerce system.

  • Reporting and analysis of store usage data.

  • Gather business requirements for site enhancements and develop user stories for the development team.

  • Communicate with sales, marketing and other stakeholders regarding new or improved online commerce capabilities.

  • Stay abreast of new technological and digital commerce trends to continue to improve the JMP digital commerce experience.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 3-5 years of e-commerce administration experience, preferably on the Magento platform.

  • Experience with online selling of subscription-based products, in both B2B and B2C scenarios.

  • Experience with multi-national/multi-lingual e-commerce sites, including configuration of different payment gateways and tax engines.

  • Familiarity with international e-commerce policies and regulations, particularly as it pertains to the sales of software products.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
