Job Description:

Working as a Product Development Manager you will be involved in researching, developing, communicating and implementing existing and new products designed to provide the sales channels with an ongoing supply of updated, new and innovative products that meet customer needs.  A key component of the position will require you to partner with Field Marketing, and Sales to ensure growth of products, usage and market penetration, product revenue and profitability. 

  Additional Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and managing assigned products
  • Reporting performance, evaluating and responding to sales/customer feedback and resolving production and systems issues. 
  • Develops measures for the evaluation of products and product applications, including profitability, advertiser penetration, usage, etc.
  • Participates in the development of market plans, sales collateral and training.
  • Partners with Operations, Finance, Customer Service and IT teams on the creation of systems and processes to support ad creation, translation, billing, customer care and transfer of ads.  
  • Consults and interacts with Sales and Marketing to identify and prioritize market needs based on revenue value, market share and competitive threat.
  • Assists with increasing monetization of individual accounts, and manages quality assurance processes associated with print and internet bundled programs.

AT&T and TPG signed an agreement to form a new entity, DIRECTV, which will own and operate AT&T’s U.S. video unit consisting of DIRECTV (consumer and business satellite services), AT&T TV and U-verse TV (excluding U-verse network assets). When the transaction closes, the job you are applying for will become part of the New DIRECTV.  Transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2021.  Until closing, this role will be a part of AT&T’s U.S. video unit. Required Qualifications:

  • One or more years in product or project development
  • Strong analysis, organizing and planning skills
  • Ability to influence/persuade others
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Desired Qualifications:
  • Two or more years management experience in a marketing-related position
  • Two or more years experience in a position requiring market analysis, planning or product development
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
