Job Title: Merchandise Planner, FLG, Koolaburra Reports to: Senior Planner. Planning FLG Location: Goleta CA
The Role
The Merchandise Planner is a reactive collaborator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will support the North American eCommerce Koolaburra business by leading processes and driving sales to support financial strategies. An excellent candidate for this role is entrepreneurial and strategic with a keen ability to differentiate between high and low impact. In addition, adept to lead processes with close attention to the calendar and deliverables.
Your Impact The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
1. Manage the calendar and buy process to ensure deliverables are met to fulfill financial strategies and key calendar milestones.
2. Create sales plans and reforecast top down and bottom up plans, ensuring alignment and reconciliation. Identify and action to any changes needed. Present plan in key milestone meetings.
3. Gather data, analyze data, and determine action plans based on findings. Present in cross-functional meetings.
4. Collaborate, effectively communicate, and influence peers and cross-functional partners, such as Merchandising, and eCommerce.

We’d love to hear from people with
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
2-3+ years related work experience in merchandise planning, buying, inventory management or financial forecasting. eCommerce experience a plus
Proficient plus in Microsoft Excel with an aptitude to learn technical applications quickly, systems savvy
Excellent ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
