Lab Technician

YOUR ROLE


  • Executes day to day laboratory activities in support of product development projects. Ensures lab safety by identifying hazards and following all SHE guidelines. Maintains lab space at 5S Level 3 and champions the 5S process.
  • Designs and carries out experimental plans and procedures under the supervision of staff scientists. Follows standard testing procedures, generates, and interprets data, records observations and findings, documents (written and/or electronic) experimental details, and recommend future path for further development.
  • Labels, organizes, and stores all chemicals, samples, specimens according to safety instructions. Orders laboratory supplies as needed.
  • Ensures timely test completion using best practices and to ensure strong, seamless, interfaces with various teams.
  • Keeps up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Lab technician.
  • Ability to safe handling potentially hazardous or dangerous chemicals and materials.
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen attention to details.
