The Marketing Coordinator Role works on the Brand team to help execute marketing programs, coordinate and handle logistics, help manage materials and provide general support to the Brand Manager and team members. This role serves as an entry level position for future marketing roles – supporting marketing and brand managers while gaining valuable experience.

Material management

• Work with the promotional material routers (Marketing Specialists) to drive jobs through the promotional material approval process




• Maintain literature sites, coordinate lifecycle of materials, rep portal audit management




• Puppy/kitten kit & Sample management – approval of materials; kitting procedures and general maintenance




• Request & manage product sample needs from manufacturing for retail customers and marketing needs.

Serve as point of contact for general marketing questions

• Provide retail and internal teams with needed information to support products: specs, brand assets, general information etc.




• Respond to/triage incoming questions from the field sales force and supporting organizations




• Work with advertising agencies, cross functional partners, marketing operations and Unison team to provide general marketing information

General Support

• Ownership of general marketing programs and projects as assigned




• Support marketing programs and campaigns including project status management, collaboration with the agency and other partners




• Presentation support




• Creating detailed and visually appealing communications to include but not limited to the weekly Pawspective




• Assist the Purchase Order Process by initiating, gaining approvals and seeing through to execution w vendors, brand and procurement partners.




• Coordinate schedules and calendar invites with agency and internal Elanco partners.

• Develop a deep understanding of the customer and customer needs

• Analyzes needs and requirements by interacting with customers, consumers, and sales teams

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, science or equivalent

Additional Skills/Preferences:

• Previous marketing experience




• Experience working w advertising agencies




• Experience working in regulated industries

• Well versed in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Travel: approx 20%
