Job Description:

The Role

As Senior Product Designer you’ll work in a multidisciplinary team, alongside product managers, marketers, researchers, experience designers, and developers, to deliver a word-class, human-centered digital experience for PGIM.

Your role will be to analyze, plan, map, and create experiences that add value for PGIM prospects/customers and realize the aspirations of PGIM stakeholders to outperform our competitors in the global asset management landscape

As part of a small but growing UX team, you will be required to think strategically and own the end-to-end journey as well as each detailed outcome.

Prerequisites

· Deep understanding of digital technology

· Experience in an Agile environment

· Demonstrated success as a team player, preferably in a large enterprise

· Strong visual design skillset as evidenced in portfolio

· Experience working with design systems

· Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across disciplines with minor supervision

· Willingness to own projects and represent work to stakeholders and leadership

Preferred

· Experience designing reusable componentry for CMS (such as Drupal or AEM)

· Workshop Facilitation & Presentation

Main responsibilities

· Understand varying focus and requirements across PGIM’s asset management affiliates

· Work with Product Managers to ideate solutions that advance identified business strategies

· Represent and champion the core Human-Centered Design framework at Prudential and work to advance it

· Create and rapidly iterate wireframes and interactive prototypes

· Identify needs and design new patterns and standards that reflect PGIM brand

· Communicate new cases for UX improvements to product managers

· Support design solutions with analytics and UX-best practices to justify direction

· Engage and align with the larger UX org across the Prudential business

· Play a part in future design recruitment and selection process

· Identify opportunities for operation and process improvement within PGIM UX

Skills and experience

· 6+ years in a Product Design, UX or equivalent design role

· Combination of agency and corporate environment experience

· A design-related degree or relevant experience in designing products and services

· Solid understanding of Information Architecture, taxonomy, language, and content matrixes

· Experience with assessing front-end technology integration and enablement

· Ability to clear, compelling, and cohesive presentations to support design

· Ability to welcome and ideate around constructive criticism
