The General Manager Security Systems is responsible for security systems operations, program management, and risk management. The General Manager will oversee the Security Systems team, Service Center Security, and ID Services system wide.
Essential Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate terminal operations, moves, adds and changes including redevelopment projects for all JetBlue cities (existing and new projects)
Responsible for business partner management, including service contract and RFP's requirements for Corporate Security initiatives.
Prepare and manage annual operational, capital budgets, and day-to-day management of Security System, Visitor Management and ID services.
Oversee ID Services and Orientation distribution throughout our Blue cities system wide.
Support all security systems operations T5 and LGA as the Terminal Operators.
Liaison to CBP, TSA, and Port Authority for Security System Requirements and Compliances.
Design, Implement, and Maintain Airport Video Surveillance Systems for Airport Operations Centers.
Monitor and Report changes in the threat, technical, legal, and regulatory landscape.
Provide Security System information for audits such as PCI Compliance, TSA, or Airport Authority Audits.
Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support the engagement, growth, goal achievement
Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.
Engage with corporate officers in broader organizational strategic planning and risk management.
Provide technical guidance to Corporate Security, IT, Cyber/Legal, and IPD/ Engineering teams.
Liaise with Information Technology teams to ensure alignment between the security and enterprise architectures with the goal of coordinating the strategic planning implicit in these architectures Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Six (6) years' experience in systems related infrastructure and system design, physical security operations or technology experience
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing information quickly
Available for frequent overnight travel (up to 50%)
In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Master's Degree
Seven (7) years' experience in systems related infrastructure and system design, physical security operations or technology experience
Preferred certifications but not limited to: Security System / Low Voltage Licensed Installer, PMP, PSP, CISSP, or relevant equivalents.
Experience developing talent through mentoring, coaching, succession planning, and retention strategies.
Experience administering physical risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
Experience in the creation of airport terminal operator agreements, government regulations, and airport authority requirements relevant to systems
Working knowledge or experience of Aviation Safety and Security, Emergency Response Planning, Contingency Planning and Business Continuity Planning.
