Job Description

The Product Transformation Office is a collaborative entity within Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) organization that engages across the business and DTS to drive Product and Agile Transformation for K-C’s digital products. As a member of this team, the Senior Enterprise Agile Transformation Coach will lead DTS to transform into a customer focused, outcome driven organization by adopting product management and Agile best practices. The role will provide coaching to Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, as well as leaders on adopting product, Agile mindset and execution. This role will also monitor effectiveness of the transformation journey and bring industry best practice to drive continuous improvement to product management and Agile practices

Scope/Categories


  • Role will report to the Product Transformation Office Leader. Role will be an individual contributor.


  • Key Interfaces: CIO, DTS Senior Leadership Team, Business Leaders, Regional & Functional Subject Matter Experts.  


  • Travel may include approximately 15-20% of work time.


Key Accountabilities: 


  • Provide thought-leadership and guide enterprise through transformation from a delivery centric to an outcome centric digital organization.


  • Help to establish Agile Center of Excellence to build the deep, institutional capability required to become a truly Agile organization including the development of effective practices, tools.


  • Determine how to scale agility beyond the individual team or departmental level, and use the right scaling model to drive adoption.


  • Directly influence and coach leadership (up to executive levels) and their teams throughout DTS (infrastructure, applications teams, business partners, Strategy/Innovation/Architecture, Cyber Security and Assurance) and business to drive adoption of Product and Agile thinking.


  • Assess maturity of teams and provide hands on coaching to Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters at a sustainable pace.


  • Deliver hands-on training in classroom and in virtual setting using collaboration tools (like Mural, Miro or others) in support of enterprise-wide initiatives for internal agile development paths.


  • Monitor effectiveness of the transformation journey and drive continuous improvement to K-C product management, Agile framework and practices.


  • Provide guidance on how K-C product teams will monitor outcomes and value realization.


  • Help mobilize community of practice for specific roles to enable local thought leadership and collaboration.


Required Qualifications and Experiences:


  • B.A. or B.S./M.S. (Advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field; 10 years of professional experience with a minimum of 7 years of Information Technology experience.



  • 7-10 years of experience in the following areas:



    • Working in an Agile Software Delivery Environment


    • Providing Agile coaching and team and executive level


    • Working with organization focused on digital transformation





  • Ideal Candidate will have 4+ years of experience in the following:



    • Experience developing and deploying global methodologies in a large organization


    • Experience driving execution via performance measurement, benchmarking


    • Expert problem-solving ability and experience leading groups through problem solving methodology




  • Prior accountabilities that required influencing leaders outside of administrative authority; Strong leadership skills with emphasis on communications and partner management.


  • Strong Virtual meeting facilitation, interpersonal communication, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.


  • Experience with Product Management, Agile Execution, Strategy Deployment, and Continuous Improvement.


  • Experience with Agile Life Cycle Management Tools (JIRA or AzureDevops).


  • (Preferred) IT application services delivery experience; Product Manager Certification; Product Owner Certification, Scrum Certification.
