Overview
Stellar has an immediate opening for a Pipefitter Foreman for a food processing plant project in Fredericksburg, PA.
Responsibilities
Assure all employees follow Safety Rules as well as Company Policies and Procedures
Submit Daily Reports and track employees' time and crews' progress
Supervise Plumbers, Pipefitters, Welders and Helpers fabricating and installing pipe systems, including but not limited to: Copper, PVC/CPVC and Steel piping systems, grooved, Sweat/Braze, BW, SW, and more
Interpret drawings, identify and gather required materials for upcoming assemblies
Pressure Testing and flushing of systems
Direct employees as required to perform position associated tasks
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience
Food Processing Plant experience is a major plus.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Must be a take charge kind of person with the ability to interpret drawings and layout field piping
Knowledge and usage of measuring and testing devices, hand and power tools
Basic math abilities
Mechanical aptitude
Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills
