Job Title: Benefits Analyst

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Global Benefits

Location:  Goleta/Flexible Remote
 

The Role

The Benefits Analyst will support the Global Benefits team with administration of retirement, health and welfare and well-being employee benefit programs for North America. Assures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. Deckers is seeking candidate that has excellent understanding of the benefits field. Benefits Analyst will monitor and evaluate existing benefits and current trends to optimize benefit program while positioning the organization to attract and retain top talent. Seeking self-motived, analytical, and detailed oriented candidate with a customer service focus that thrives in a dynamic environment. Benefits Analyst will engage regularly with employees on enrollment process and benefits inquiries. The role will collaborate with cross functional teams as well as external vendors. 

Your Impact
 

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

• 1. Administers all benefits programs and interprets policy and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.


• 2. Maintain data integrity by conducting regular audits of benefit data between internal and external systems to ensure accuracy.


• 3. Analyzes benefits data and evaluates existing benefit programs and recommend changes or new programs to remain competitive.


• 4. Conceptualize, plan, develop and distribute communication materials and information utilizing appropriate platforms and modalities to optimize employee engagement and understanding of benefits programs.

We’d love to hear from people with

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience


• At least 3-5 years of benefits administration experience


• Knowledge of U.S. benefit principles, legislation, and practices


• Strong knowledge and proficiency of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite


• Well versed in Workday benefit tracking system a plus
