The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for data integrity and supervises equipment for the company’s Maintenance Department.
Essential Functions:
Respond to requests for data by writing queries as needed to pull information out of TMW and TMT systems.
Attend TMW/TMT conferences and develop and implement a plan to interface TMW and TMT systems.
Manage equipment data in TMT, including adding new equipment, placing out of service equipment on Inactive status, adjusting equipment information in TMT, and incorporating changes from Iapprove into TMT.
Confirm that equipment information in TMT, FixedAssets, and Leased Equipment are in sync to include rates, costs, salvage value, start date, term date, disposal period, classifications, and specifications; and makes corrections as necessary.
Verify that lease files are accurate, and contain leases for current units.
Manage and process emails sent to the Equipment Status/Transfer distribution group.
Review monthly invoices for accuracy and submit leases to Accounts.
Research open purchase orders and repair orders in Maintenance Department, making contact with vendors as necessary for copies of open items, and accruing for open items.
Assign unit numbers to new equipment, and ship unit numbers and other appropriate decals to party designated to install decals onto units, notifying License/Permit Clerk of new equipment.
Prepare and distribute monthly reports on Idle Equipment, End of Month Mileage, and Rental Equipment.
Analyze monthly reports to identify opportunities to better utilize equipment.
Enter and process Daily Fuel Activity.

Other Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent.
One to three years related experience.
Should be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
Should have the ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
