The NetApp E-Series Product Team is seeking a Product Manager to help position and drive the key value proposition for targeted workloads like Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Enterprise Databases, Media & Entertainment, and Backup & Recovery.

This role will support the E-Series product line and the daily needs of planning, forecasting, working with Engineering and Operations to guide software and hardware releases & roadmaps, collaborating with Sales and Support organizations, maintaining an outside-in market and product view, and managing key business metrics. A successful candidate with bring to NetApp a strong business acumen, understanding of the product lifecycle, collaborating with development organizations, maintaining field-facing product roadmaps, and supporting customer organizations.


Job Requirements



  • 2+ years of product management and associated product marketing, program management, and business analytics.

  • Developing business cases, business plans, product definitions and specifications, product launch and life cycle management activities.

  • Monitoring problem areas; defining or approving planned product enhancements.

  • Collaborating with architects and technical directors on technology trends/options.

  • Participating in quality assessment and improvement processes.

  • Parntering with Business Development Managers and Technical Marketing Engineers to drive growth in the business.

  • Gathering marketplace requirements and setting direction for future product evolution.

  • Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to influence others, both internally and externally.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering or Business

  • A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) preferred, and/or relevant experience.
