Job Description:

Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. is a team of mental health professionals that specialize in psychiatric evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems. Founded in 1991, we offer an intensive outpatient chemical dependency program, psychological testing, and behavioral health and medication management services.


We are currently seeking one Regional Outreach Representative. This will require travel in the northern part of Minnesota, including: Brainerd, Duluth, Alexandria, Bemidji, Duluth, Sartell, and Cambridge.
This role facilitates and serves as a liaison between NAL/FSSI and referring providers within the medical community, hospitals, churches, schools, courts, corrections, law enforcement, jails, prisons, counties/county workers, pastors, guidance counselors and the like - collectively referred to as "the community." The goal is to nurture existing relationships and foster new ones. The Regional Outreach Representative is responsible for all marketing and outreach efforts exerted by NAL/FSSI under the direction of the Director of Sales and Outreach. This includes, but is not limited to, marketing all programs offered (current and upcoming,) providers, coordinating and hosting community events and internal NAL/FSSI marketing events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Developing solid professional relationships with key referral partners to understand their needs and provide feedback to management on how well current services meet referral sources needs.
Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our referring partners, patients and community partner
Effectively markets all of NAL programs in a clear and accurate manner to the community to increase community knowledge of the services provided by NAL.
Create and implement overall targeted regional sales strategy to support sales philosophy of relationship management and new business prospecting.
Initiate, schedule and track face to face appointments with key referents and key members of leadership or clinical staff and provide documentation in CRM
Represent the organization in a professional manner at civic and professional functions.
Work collaboratively with members of the team, including the clinical staff to promote all Nystrom programs. This includes planning and/or coordinating large events as well as attending various community meetings as directed/appropriate.
Assist the treatment teams in locating and evaluating residential facilities and other providers as needed
Prepare and submit all reports as required (e.g. CRM entries, Quarterly Plan, expense accounts)
Coordinate and host referral source visitors to Nystrom facilities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Undergraduate (four year) degree preferred in the field(s) of business, marketing, communications and/or psychology/Social Work, and/or 2+ years of work experience in the behavioral health/social services environment/healthcare/pharmaceutical industries.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities and projects.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate one on one and in group settings.
Excellent customer service skills.
Both willing to and skilled at taking initiative in problem solving and programming improvements.
Knowledge of the industry (Addiction/mental health treatment) &/or medical referral sources in the territory is a plus.
Previous experience with event planning and coordination.
Proven ability to work without close supervision and take initiative- self-starter.
Agrees with the NAL Mission Statement.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
A valid driver's license is required.

Other:

Attending, exhibiting and presenting at appropriate fairs, trade shows, and other opportunities as necessary, as determined by Director of Sales and Outreach.
Flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends and ability to travel.
Duties may be added, deleted or modified as position evolves.
Hours are Monday - Friday, (occasional weekend hours for events) at least 40 or more office and/or field hours per week. Involves up to 75% travel locally.
