How You'll Make A Difference:

  • Cooks and prepares food items, to park standards while incorprating personal flare.

  • Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures. Notifies kitchen personnel of food shortages or special orders.

  • Train, coach, evaluate, and discipline staff with appropriate documentation, while following proper human resources guidelines.

  • Learn, understand and demonstrate proficiency in operational tasks, service/production flow, equipment cleaning and usage and menu items in the location.

  • Complete and submit all inventory, adminstrative, and miscellaneous paperwork.

  • Works with management team to ensure staffing needs are met and are in compliance with Minor Labor Laws. 

  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safery guidelines and requirements. Reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. 

  • Follows Board of Health and Regulations.

  • Oversees all areas of food cost, receives and properly logs intventory, and informs management of inventory discrepancies.

  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions

  • Other duties may be assigned.

We’re looking for:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must have at least 1-2 years of culinary experience. 

  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
