Responsibilities This part-time position serves as initial point of contact for all students, scholars and visitors to the ISSS suite in the Center for Global Engagement (CGE). Responsibilities include welcoming visitors to the suite, answering questions in person and by phone, or redirecting inquiries to the correct resource; scanning and recording receipt notices from USCIS and notifying students via email for document pick up. Record student completion of Optional Training Workshops in Sunapsis and assist with other immigration projects and tasks as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Available to follow consistent schedule of 9:00 am to 1:00 pm daily for up to 12 months.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective organization and time management skillsAbility to multitask and ensure accuracy of work U.S. citizenship or permanent residence required to comply with federal immigration regulations
Preferred Preferred:
    Experience working with diverse populations.Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.


Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This is a 12 month position that does not follow the FSU academic calendar.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
