Positions are available at the Union campus as well as Kean Ocean, Kean Skylands and other locations where indicated.
School of Public Architecture
Architecture - to teach Architectural Studies at the Union campus. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture is required. Experience teaching Architectural Design Studio courses and/or Lecture courses in History/Theory, Representation and/or Technology to undergraduate Architecture students is desirable.
Architecture - to teach Structures at the Union campus. Master's degree in Architecture and/or Structure Engineering is required. Experience teaching Structures courses to undergraduate Architecture students is desirable.
Architecture - to teach Master of Architecture courses at the Union campus. Professional Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture is required. Experience teaching Architectural Design Studio courses and/or Lecture courses in Professional Practice and/or Technology to Master of Architecture students is desirable.
Classes begin September 1, 2021. All positions require a Master's degree in a related field and teaching experience unless otherwise indicated; candidates with an ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D. or other acceptable disciplinary doctorate are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Blackboard and Online Learning Pedagogy is required of all adjuncts, consistent with University guidelines. Kean may offer free voluntary Blackboard workshops to otherwise qualified applicants.
