Overview

ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. From molecule to medicine, we advance clinical research providing outsourced services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and government and public health organisations.

With our patients at the centre of all that we do, we help to accelerate the development of drugs and devices that save lives and improve quality of life.

Our people are our greatest strength, are at the core of our culture, and the driving force behind our success. ICON people have a mission to succeed and a passion that ensures what we do, we do well.

Responsibilities

We build products and services that care professionals use every day to manage care and improve outcomes for their patients. The work that we do here directly impacts people's lives.

We are looking to expand our core product development team with a backend developer who has five or more years experience in the development of web and web API applications using the latest Microsoft technologies including React web, C#, .NET, MVC, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.

Given what we do, we have a strong focus on quality and security. When you write a line of code, you should be thinking about how the testing and integration of that code can be automated. Analysis tools should be afraid of your code, not the other way around!

We are big on collaboration. Our ideal candidate is close to our San Diego or Folsom, CA offices but we're open to considering remote team members as well. We appreciate a great work-life balance. We dress casually. We solve hard problems. We have fun.
