The Environmental ComplianceProgram Manager is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and documenting methods and systems to be used across the product development and engineering organizations related to product environmental compliance for the entire organization. The main focus is on EU RoHS, EU REACH, Responsible Mineral Inquiry, China RoHS, WEEE, and CA Proposition 65. Other material-related compliance duties may arise with the company reaching for the new markets (for example Medical Devices or In-vitro Diagnostic Regulation, animal and heavy metal content, etc.).
Responsibilities
Ensures all products are compliant with the final destination country requirements. Provides guidelines, best practices, communication, and support to the organization as the regulations change and/or as Brooks customers' requirements demand. Provide required reports to the authorities. Ensure the registration in the environmental compliance databases. Guarantee Agile PLM tool accurately stores compliance data, automations are working efficiently, and reports are accessible to all users.
