We have exciting opportunities for sales professionals to join our stellar sales organization!

IDC is seeking Inside Sales Account Executives to join our new Inside Sales team in Tampa, FL.

The initial focus of the Inside Sales Account Executives will be to accelerate IDC's current successful business with Tech Disruptors. The Inside Sales AEs are responsible for selling an enhanced and tailored product and solution set geared to the needs of start-up and Emerging Technology Vendors. This product leverages IDC’s detailed research and data across technology markets, vendors, and buyers, and world class Go-To-Market platforms.


These roles will report to the Director, Inside Sales, and are quota-carrying.

The Inside Sales Account Executives will become experts in the products and services IDC offers to Tech Disruptors. They will have a comprehensive understanding of how the products and services fit into the fabric of the emerging technology vendors and VC firms in which IDC's customers operate.

While this role will be based in IDC's new office in Tampa, Florida, it is currently remote due to COVID-19.

Responsibilities


  • Generate revenue in new sales of IDC’s Accelerator Product to emerging technology vendors

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of IDC’s Accelerator Product, as well as build strong relationships with individuals across IDC as a member of a collaborative team

  • Prospect for incremental opportunities, follow up on proposal generation, respond to client requests for information and/or problems, and continue to enhance the client value proposition

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members for further development and closure

  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas




Qualifications


  • Bachelors' Degree or equivalent experience, business or marketing disciplines are preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in an outbound call center or inside sales experience, with proven experience in closing sales with prospects and clients

  • Previous B2B technology sales experience is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills

  • Ability to build relationships, navigate organizations to identify key decision makers

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Capable of solving problems and making decisions quickly

  • CRM/Salesforce experience preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • Minimum domestic travel (0-5%) (post-COVID)

  • Ability to commute to IDC new Tampa FL office (Remote until office is opened)
