We are searching for a Social Media Coordinator who is creative and driven to help the Abrasives Systems Division (ASD) continue to build a social media presence.
The Social Media Coordinator will be required to help drive engagement and community growth with fresh, new content ideas and social tactics.

Here, you will make an impact by:
Working with the team to refine social media and digital strategy and best practices, aligned to supporting the ASD portfolio (inclusive of New Product Introductions, Standard Operating Procedures, Global Campaigns, Always-On content, etc.)
Managing the development and publishing of social media content calendars (planning, copywriting, content creation, proofreading, approvals, scheduling) and work with necessary parties to execute on a monthly basis
Being a primary platform user for corporate social media tools including content publishing, competitive analysis, social listening, asset management, and routing and approvals
Maintaining a working document with relevant Frequently Asked Questions and crisis communication scenarios/next steps
Building brand awareness and engage audience with ongoing community management and search and engagement tactics
Reporting monthly, quarterly and annually on social media performance and ongoing competitive tracking to identify areas for optimization or content opportunities
Developing a yearly competitive analysis to monitor industry landscape
Engaging with key opinion leaders on social channels and identifying opportunities for leveraging user-generated content
Maintaining synergies between organic and paid social media (develop frequent touch points with Paid Media lead)
Assisting in ad creation and coordination for organic/paid social and search (copywriting and visual creation)
Auditing global social channels to garner insights on localizing content and sharing with other regions
Managing social content repository for global replication (aggregate posts by portfolio, uploading content to data asset management system)
Leading pre-production and manage social media photo and video shoots in the lab with portfolio team and Application Engineers
Following Client Corporate Media Policy and Governance and overall brand standards
Assisting with sharing best practices and our learnings company-wide
Staying up to date with the latest social trends, both industry-related and across other verticals
Assisting in social asset coordination and management for Global Campaign Toolkits each quarter in alignment with 2021 Marketing Plan
Assisting with social media research and asset creation for current and upcoming product launches
Performing keyword research for paid social, search, video optimizations, etc.
Providing ad-hoc support with digital media efforts, YouTube channel optimization and content management
Assisting in social selling strategies and providing global social assets to be used by Client employees and sales reps
Working to develop new skills, share outwardly with teams, and increase digital marketing capacity

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Client is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
Minimum of 3 (three) years combined experience in digital marketing or marketing communications, with a focus on social media
Technology fluent with good understanding of primary global social media platforms and tools
Experience in the following is preferable: Windows, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint
