ADESA, a KAR Global company, is looking for a dedicated Automotive Mechanic to work as part of our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing proper diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles. Skilled. In your role, you excel at and can successfully diagnose and repair:
Drivability diagnosis
A/C & Heater system checks
Brakes inspection and system check
Electrical Charging system check
Cooling Systems inspections and minor repairs
Check Electrical Starting Systems for charge and perform minor repairs or replacements
Lighting Systems inspection and minor repairs to wiring and electrical accessories
Drive Axles inspections and maintenance
Driveline inspections and lubrication
Gas/Diesel engine inspection and oil replacement
Fuel Systems inspections and repair of lines and tubes
Tire and Wheel Maintenance including air pressure check and tread depth; replace if needed with mount and dismount as well as rotation

We Require:
Motor vehicle/criminal background checks for all positions
Pre-employment drug screen required
A valid Driver’s License and the ability to operate standard or automatic vehicles
You to have basic tools for Auto Mechanic Work (wrenches, sockets, plyers, screwdrivers, etc.)
Computer skills – automated shop computers and diagnostic test equipment
Tire and Wheel qualified within the first six months of employment.
We prefer:
1-2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic/technician
ASE Certification
COVID 19 safety precautions and procedures in place to ensure employee safety, health, and wellbeing.
