The Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the sales team in retaining and growing business by performing superior support services and tools for our Buyer Engagement team. This role will serve as an advocate to manage and create innovative solutions to make our sales team more efficient. This role requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment, has strong analytical skills and can multi-task.    

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

• Create reports and perform sales and operational analysis for a centralized sales organization using a wide variety of data analysis tools




• Use Cognos Business Intelligence, Tableau, and advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting tasks as requested




• Compile monthly commissions for the sales organization




• Identify opportunities to proactively measure and monitor performance of the sales organization




• Design and develop reporting packages to better analyze sales results and key business drivers.




• Perform analysis and ad hoc projects as requested by management




• Comfort with proactively analyzing and identifying issues within the business and finding and implementing solutions




• Ability to frame complex problems, apply creative analytics and formulate a pragmatic solution




• Drive the application of analytic methodologies to business operations data to provide business intelligence for enterprise performance analysis




• Assist with testing and implementing new product solutions




• Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance

Educational Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related business field required




• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required




• Experience with SalesForce Lightning is required




• Experience with Business Intelligence applications such as Snowflake and/or Tableau is a plus




• SQL skills are a plus




• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills




• A passion for finding insights in data and driving change based on those insights




• Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
