This role will be responsible for identifying and translating market intelligence and data into key insights that then result in meaningful recommendations and actions. This includes understanding key market drivers and performing market share analysis as well as formulating monthly recommendations for prices moves, spiffs and promotions. Key stakeholders include: Sales Leadership, Demand Planning, Marketing, Pricing, LOB/Offering Management, corporate market intelligence, strategy.
Track competitive moves related to channel route to market and IRS/ITS product lines
Pricing: List price moves, project insights, key wins
Liaison with external data sources, benchmarking groups
Financial insights from public company releases
VOC survey work
High school diploma
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to build a network with external researchers
5+ years experience
Knowledge of the IT industry, preferably data center market
Understanding of channel route to market, distribution models
