This position supports the field operations. Performs physical tasks relating to tracking and controlling test equipment. Performs other assignments as required.
Maintain shop in a neat and orderly condition.
Pro-active approach to coordinating incoming/outgoing test equipment for projects.
Review calendar for equipment needed on projects.
Maintain and track the maintenance for all Company assigned/pool test equipment, and vehicles.
Track and monitor all outside rental test equipment for job assignment.
Control and inventory all shop supplies.
Maintain shop for a safe and organized working environment.
Expedite Job Materials.
Works with the Service Center Manager to ensure compliance with HVM Environmental and Safety Policies.
Maintains proper calibration of all test equipment traceable to the NIST.
Maintain testing program for personal protective equipment including gloves, hot sticks and blankets.

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, and smell. Frequently required to sit, climb, and balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, basic color differentiation and the ability to adjust focus. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move 100-pound test sets.
Valid Driver's License.
High school education or equivalent and one year minimum of same or similar work experience.
Familiarity with electrical terminology.
Some familiarity of computer skills including editing, formatting, and using templates in Microsoft Word, use of Internet.
