Job Summary We are seeking a Software Engineer to lead our Advanced Monitoring and Control Software. This person will provide technical expertise and leadership in the development of a distributed control system supervisor including subsystems for user interfaces, databases, security conformance, and network communications.
Requirements analysis: Requirements gathering, use case analysis, application and user interface prototyping, customer/customer-liaison engagement
Project management: Project planning, task estimation, software metrics collection, version control
Full lifecycle software application development: Design, programming, debugging, peer review, unit testing, performance tuning, integration, localization
Documentation: Program commentary, user guides for service and troubleshooting
Product testing: Unit testing, system integration testing, and field test support
Other tasks and activities as required by management
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent with strong emphasis on software: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering
8 years of experience in software applications development, at least 5 years of which for the Microsoft Windows operating system
4 years of experience with the C# programming language using the .NET framework
Expertise with software programming languages, frameworks, and subsystems including but not limited to:
.NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET
Both Front-End and Back-End application development experience in technologies and architectures such as:
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), XAML, jQuery, Node.js
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices, Representation State Transfer (REST)
Cloud computing, Microsoft Azure, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Docker, Redis
Familiarity with software development environments and tools:
Integrated platforms like Azure DevOps Server (TFS), Visual Studio
Source code version control, Git, TFVC
Postman, Nuget, Swagger, WiX
Additional, highly sought but not required
Embedded systems experience with control applications
Fluency in English
