Job Description:

Job Summary
We are seeking a Software Engineer to lead our Advanced Monitoring and Control Software. This person will provide technical expertise and leadership in the development of a distributed control system supervisor including subsystems for user interfaces, databases, security conformance, and network communications.

Responsibilities :

  • Requirements analysis: Requirements gathering, use case analysis, application and user interface prototyping, customer/customer-liaison engagement
  • Project management: Project planning, task estimation, software metrics collection, version control
  • Full lifecycle software application development: Design, programming, debugging, peer review, unit testing, performance tuning, integration, localization
  • Documentation: Program commentary, user guides for service and troubleshooting
  • Product testing: Unit testing, system integration testing, and field test support
  • Leadership: Effective lead engineer, consistent positive attitude, creativity, accepts broad responsibility
  • Other tasks and activities as required by management

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent with strong emphasis on software: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering
  • 8 years of experience in software applications development, at least 5 years of which for the Microsoft Windows operating system
  • 4 years of experience with the C# programming language using the .NET framework
  • Expertise with software programming languages, frameworks, and subsystems including but not limited to:
  • C#, C++, C, JavaScript, Python, Go
  • .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET
  • SQL Server
  • Both Front-End and Back-End application development experience in technologies and architectures such as:
  • Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), XAML, jQuery, Node.js
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices, Representation State Transfer (REST)
  • Cloud computing, Microsoft Azure, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Docker, Redis
  • Familiarity with software development environments and tools:
  • Integrated platforms like Azure DevOps Server (TFS), Visual Studio
  • Source code version control, Git, TFVC
  • Postman, Nuget, Swagger, WiX
  • Additional, highly sought but not required
  • Embedded systems experience with control applications
  • HVAC experience
  • Fluency in English
