In this role, the Clinical Genomics Scientist or Genetic Counselor will be primarily involved in supporting clinical reporting efforts related to the laboratory’s physician-ordered, clinical whole genome sequencing test. This position will integrate medical, professional and regulatory requirements of clinical sequencing, genetics expertise, and the Illumina sequencing platforms. Individuals will be required to combine their genetics and clinical expertise with regulatory standards and best practices to analyze genomes for varied clinical indications. Individuals will work as a member of a dynamic and collaborative team. This position will help build and guide the future development of clinical whole genome sequencing implementation, and offers excellent opportunity for professional growth and advancement. Requires an Advanced Degree in a Biological Sciences field or Masters Degree and Board Certification in Genetic Counseling and at least 1- 2 years related experience
