national audience. We meet the audience where it is with the programs it wants.

We are looking for an Analyst who will work in our Business Insights and

Analytics team, to develop reports, tools and data to research and analyze both internal and competitive insights. You will be hands-on with the data and

responsible for providing insights on Content with specific emphasis on

improving viewership and monetization. You will be joining a team that is

focused on measuring the audience on Scripps Television networks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an innovative and driven individual who is enthusiastic about using data and analytics to drive significant results in an

environment that rewards performance.

What You Will Do:


  • Be hands on with television audience data and reporting


  • Create and maintain large data sets and tools to empower operational and exploratory analysis and automate reporting and processes.


  • Apply proficiency in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to prepare viewership demographic reports and analysis.


  • Maintain and extend an internal data warehouse with large datasets from various sources for powering various audience dashboards, reports and analysis emphasizing key trends.


  • Design and implement quantitative analyses and predictive modeling that result in actionable solutions to assist in programming decisions for the network.


  • Support a data-driven culture, educating the organization on everyday use of data as a resource.


What You Will Bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Statistics or other quantitative disciplines.


  • 2+ years related experience such as analyzing data and/or building analytical models in an academic/professional setting and 1+ years of relevant work experience.


  • Proficiency in Python.


  • Knowledge of relational databases and above average capabilities with SQL.


  • Demonstrates a systematic approach towards collecting data from various sources.


  • High-energy, self-starter individual with a passion for your work, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.


  • Able to collaborate and work effectively within a small team.


  • Diligent, diplomatic, positive, go-getter attitude.
