The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Compounding MCO, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Uses computer systems as appropriate within department to perform job functions


• Follows all department and corporate procedures regarding safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory. Actively wears all required personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to safety glasses and safety shoes


• Visually inspects at various operating steps/operations for product/material defects and that the product is properly identified to maintain traceability.


• Coordinates with line operators for delivery of chemical to production lines.


• Communicates with production personnel to ensure that all production lines are monitored for chemical usage to determine when they will need replacement


• Is responsible for machine set-ups, general maintenance, startups and or shutdowns of production equipment.


• Responsible for accurate reporting, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste materials

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.


• Work 2nd shift (2PM – 10:30PM, Monday – Friday), Available for weekend work, working overtime, working holidays, rotating shifts, and/or short notice shift coverage.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience of one year working in a Lean Manufacturing work environment


• Possesses basic mathematical skills and is able to perform basic mathematical calculations.


• Experience handling hazardous waste material


• Basic Office 365 skills (Microsoft Excel)


• Requires having taken and scored Medium or High in the Global Advanced Manufacturing Battery (GAMB) Test.
