Woodard & Curran continues to grow, and we are looking to add to our close-knit Talent Acquisition Team! The Recruiting Specialist will regularly participate in the daily operations of recruiting and support various talent acquisition projects as directed.

Would you enjoy working with a fast paced, highly collaborative, energetic team?  As a Recruiting Specialist you will be committed to enhancing Woodard & Curran’s ability to attract and convert highly sought after and talented prospects into active candidates. You will analyze talent and have the autonomy to develop customized recruitment strategies that include sourcing, candidate engagement and more. You will be a strategic partner with your assigned client group, support talent initiatives, and help to lead managers, teams, and candidates through the hiring process. Woodard & Curran is a full-service environmental planning, engineering, construction, and operations firm with 1200 staff delivering services to public and private clients across a national footprint.
 

What you will be doing at Woodard & Curran as part of the Talent Acquisition Team:

The primary responsibilities are to support the team in strategic recruiting initiatives and related projects with focus, enthusiasm and follow through. In addition, you will:


  • Support, Manage and/or facilitate full cycle recruiting from req intake to hire for specific clients as directed.

  • Assist in building talent pipelines for multiple searches and apply sourcing skills and creative ideas utilizing various talent platforms, online communities, conferences, and other sourcing pools to focus on technical talent.

  • Utilize strong consulting and communication skills to effectively work in a team environment.

  • Partner with our corporate services teams, such as Marketing, to promote our outstanding company culture as we attract top talent.

  • Support the administrative function with regard to career fair registration/coordination, scheduling phone screens and interviews, conducting reference checks, and initiating and following up on pre-employment screening activities.

  • Utilize Workday HRIS for requisition and applicant management, as well as for reporting.

  • Provide support in annual programs, talent initiatives and related projects (e.g. career fairs, internship program)

  • Provide support to managers and new hires for Workday onboarding. Ensure all onboarding requirements are completed and deadlines are met.

Beyond organizational competence and credibility, we will be evaluating applicants based on evidence of their ability to be engaging with others, their ability to multi-task, prioritize, and to develop productive client relationships.

What you will need to succeed:


  • 2+ years recruiting experience, engineering, technical, and /or service-oriented experience desired.

  • Solid organizational, analytical and assessment skills.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills required.

  • Ability to manage and facilitate multiple searches and related talent activities.

  • Ability to interact with and engage all levels of management, including remote internal clients.

  • Familiar with navigating social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, ATS, web-based job boards, and other online tools.

  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Occasional travel required.
