Job Description:

Oversees the completion of intake processes for Advanced Therapy referrals with their assigned clients, provide physician office regular status updates, report creation, and acts as a high touch physician liaison. Works under the direction of the Supervisor and/or Manager, and serves to support staff in attainment of turnaround time expectations for high touch medical centers. Conducts morning meetings to ensure other Advanced Therapy departments are compliant with their responsibilities during the intake process. Assist with efficient resolution of member and client related issues. Act as liaison services to other Express Scripts Departments. Recognizes and recommends improvements to processes and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Serves as the main point of contact to targeted physician offices, intake of new patients, and other patient referrals sources.

  • Monitors and drives, under the supervision of the Supervisor and/or Manager, the intake process from the receipt of referral stage through the shipment completion stage. Functions as a "hands on" subject matter expert for the Department.

  • Leads the development and creation of customized scheduled reports for key referral sources. Act as liaison for other operational departments to research and resolve member and client issues.

  • Maintain service levels and performance guarantees. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries.

  • Upon request, will travel to assigned territory and collaborate with field sales force to provide general program information, concierge service, and various stakeholders.

  • Special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • High School/GED or equivalent work experience.

  • 3 to 5 years of similar work experience preferred

  • 0 - 2 years of health care experience with medical insurance knowledge and terminology.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Extensive knowledge of ESI products and services a must; experience training and coaching less experienced staff - patience to explain details and processes repeatedly, excellent phone presentation and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging customers in a professional manner, ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make decisions with minimal supervisor.

  • Advance problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
