Job Description:

The Production Control Manager is responsible for developing, planning, forecasting, managing, coordinating, and communicating the Master Production Schedule to ensure that on-time deliveries will be achieved in accordance with customer, corporate, and financial objectives. This role will also effectively lead, develop, supervise & evaluate production planning/control while providing continuous service and support for manufacturing/operations and customer service/support through daily communications, meetings, and personal contact as needed.

Major Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain plans, systems, methods, measures, trackers and controls to assure on-time product delivery.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing planning performance reports and schedules for communication.
• Build & Communicate the master schedule and any changes to appropriate staff and customers to ensure awareness and effective follow thru.
• Interact daily with sales staff to ensure customer delivery requirements are met in a timely manner. Track on time and past due orders.
• Lead and develop staff to ensure teamwork and the effective execution of production planning and scheduling, with on-time cost effective shipments, effective and timely customer communication, and the creation and maintenance of required records, reports, and recordkeeping.
• Work with customers to understand their portals & demand systems - allowing the PCM to download required information to our trackers and system.
• Administrator to customers portal for CPP's PC & Sales team
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work.
• Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required
• 4+ years previous experience in a Production Planning/Control position required
• Experience in a leadership role a plus
• Experience in Sales and/or direct customer interaction dealing with sales orders and fulfillment of those orders is a plus
• Attention to detail, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), ability to work with others through complex situations
