YOUR ROLE As a Material Handler, you will:
Primarily responsible includes; receipt, storage, maintenance, retrieval and distribution of materials and products.
Follow the instructions of the warehouse supervisor
Must be able to keep on schedule with minimal supervision.
Possess a complete knowledge of all equipment within the department
Follows proper material storage and handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials
Demonstrates initiative in making suggestions to improve procedures, offering better ways to meet customer expectations, and bridging ideas into actions with guidance from supervisor.
Must be able to give timely and accurate recording and reporting.
Possess complete knowledge of the following SAP software for their specific function
Process and verification of scheduled process orders to include:
Pulling Correct Raw Materials/Finished Goods, Batch Number and Quantity
Verifying and updating inventory accuracy both quantity and location accuracy as needed
Communicating shortages both verbally and in writing on the process orders and on the Schedules for Warehouse and Planning
YOUR SKILLS
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Ability to pass Henkel Forklift certification within first 30 days.
Ability to pass basic mathematics proficiency requirements and skills assessment testing.
Demonstrated proficiency at routine mathematics, which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Must be computer literate.
The employee must have excellent attendance record.
The employee must be available for rotating or designated shifts and be flexible about working overtime hours as needed.
