Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the design, build, test, and implementation phases of research programs focused on advanced cybersecurity capabilities for the US government
• Design and develop custom software solutions for both prototype and production-level systems
• Designing and developing full sections of functionality given a broad requirement, including identifying and handling edge cases and error states
• Debug issues and help perform end-to-end testing to discover new ones

• A bachelor's or advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related technical domain
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering
• Minimum of 3 years experience programming with Python
• Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering software/systems across the lifecycle including research prototypes, alpha/beta releases, and the production versions
• Minimum of 3 years working in an agile environment using git and JIRA (or similar change management tools)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience building microservice architectures with the following, or similar, technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and RESTful APIs

• Experience working as part of a small development team composed of researchers, engineers, and scientists
• Foundational knowledge of software and systems engineering
• Cybersecurity domain experience and knowledge
• Experience optimizing code for performance, scalability, and stability
• Experience developing cybersecurity solutions and products
• Experience doing front-end web development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5) especially VueJS and AngularJS

• US Citizenship
• Active TS clearance required
