Overview:

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior Machine Learning - Signals Processing candidate to join the Data Science Team that applies expertise in machine learning, data visualization, statistics, and computational architectures to solve hard research challenges in AI security & privacy, synthetic biology, cyber security, computational social science, code analysis, biometrics, and other areas. We have built systems that summarize source code, predict protein stability, visualize graphs with millions of nodes, and detect stealthy denial-of-service attacks.

Responsibilities Include:

• Research novel machine learning methods, apply them to challenging problem domains, and present empirical research results.
• Develop, apply, and evaluate state-of-the-art machine learning and signal processing techniques to efficiently analyze large amounts of time-series data.
• Contribute to technical proposals in new research areas.
• Work on a multidisciplinary team alongside experts in deep learning, cybersecurity, NLP, and software development with clients that include DARPA and other government agencies.

• 3+ years of experience developing and applying machine learning models to challenging research problems with time-series data or similar modalities
• 1+ year programming experience with Python and Python machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Sklearn, NLTK)
• Bachelor's degree in machine learning, CS, EE, Applied Math, Stats, or a related field, or 2+ years additional professional experience

• Graduate degree or publication record in a relevant field
• Foundational knowledge of basic digital signal processing techniques (e.g., filtering, time-frequency analysis, multi-rate analysis)
• Mathematical and statistical understanding of machine learning techniques
• Skilled at communicating empirical research results in written, visual, and spoken forms
• Applied research experience, especially with DARPA or a similar agency
• Experience contributing to research proposals

• Active DoD Secret security clearance required
