Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to, operating an optimized trimmer, ensuring boards are correct width, optimizer is making the best decisions around trimming, unplugging the sorter, operating a chainsaw in a safe and efficient manner and communicating with other operators in the facility. Must be able to follow Trimmer SOP, JSA, and lockout procedures at all times. Occasional overtime may be necessary. Must keep machine center clean and be able to work some OT on short notice.

Qualifications

Prior Trimmer Operator/sawmill experience a plus. Demonstrated steady, dependable work history. Must be able to successfully pass a hair drug test (90 day history), pre-employment physical, and criminal background check.
