Responsibilities

Outside cleanup, providing breaks for operators. Required to fill in on equipment as needed. Required to learn and become qualified/certified in the following jobs through on the job training: Resaw, stacker, trimmer, edger, debarker, forklift, front end loader, Kabota tractor, & 966 loader. Will receive the higher operator hourly rate for job performed after qualification (with the exception of providing regular breaks.) Will have 6 months to learn ½ the jobs and one year for the remainder of jobs. Supervisor will explain responsibilities and expectations.

Qualifications

Prior sawmill experience a plus. Demonstrated steady, dependable work history. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders safely. The weight required to be lifted each normal workday may occasionally exceed fifty (50) pounds at a time.

Must be able to successfully pass a hair drug test (90 day history), pre-employment physical, and criminal background check.
