Responsible for multiplex enzyme assay screening for lysosomal storage disorders using tandem mass spectrometry.
Place customized order for standards and internal standards from new vendors and evaluate the results
Prepare dry blood spot samples following specific protocols
Optimize and carry out the multiplex enzymatic assays
Carry out LC-MS/MS analysis
Perform data Analysis using Analyst software
Evaluate the QC samples and standard curves
Timely record all experimental findings in adequate details in eLN
Send out summary sheets and present scientific results to the project teams within agreed cycle time
Seek advicewhen appropriate
Improving theoretical knowledge and practical skills of mass spectrometry
Learning the biology and pathophysiology of the related diseases
B.S. 4-6 years of related experience or M.S. 2-3 years of related experience
Experience independently performing multiplex enzyme assay screening of dried blood spot and CSF fluids for lysosomal storage disorders
Experience analyzing data and summarizing the results with minimal supervision
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmwith overtime as needed.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Framingham, MA are encouraged to apply.
