Senior Recruitment Marketing Specialist

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Kohler, WI


The Sr Communication Specialist, Recruitment Marketing leads and optimizes Kohler Co.'s use of digital, social and other platforms to achieve employer brand and recruitment goals, while positioning Kohler as an employer of choice in all markets. The position gathers and analyzes data from Kohler Co.'s internal and external employer brand and digital and social marketing platforms and provides distinct and leading recommendations to drive measurable results.

Specific Responsibilities


Employer Brand Recruitment Marketing/Communications

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (i.e. talent acquisition, HR business partners, hiring managers, corporate communications) to provide end-to-end market-leading recruitment marketing recommendations and solutions (digital, social, web, print, radio, etc.) to support the business' talent needs.

  • Partner closely and work in strong collaboration with Corporate Communications, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources and business teams to project manage and execute recruitment marketing campaigns from start to finish.

  • Monitor online activity of social media and website traffic as required by internal processes.

  • Encourage employee brand ambassadorship through internal communications including on Kohler's internal communication app.

  • Develop and maintain documentation materials for social media processes and policies pertinent to Kohler Co.'s employer brand.

  • Develop training materials and lead training sessions to share best practices on a variety of digital recruitment and employer brand topics with HR generalists, recruiters and other internal audiences.

  • Participate in and provide support for Talent Acquisition projects with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Manage presence, utilization, performance and strategies within employer brand/recruitment marketing sites as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Jopwell, Fairygodboss, and more, serving as the day-to-day point of contact for vendor relationships.

  • Monitor Kohler Co. job ads for adherence to brand standards. Recommend format, content and process  improvements to enhance the quality of job postings in support of brand reputation and recruitment goals.


Technology, Analytics and Digital Intelligence

  • Leverages available technology and systems and identify new tech to support recruitment marketing and employer brand strategies.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of employer brand and recruitment marketing intranet sites.

  • Track, evaluate and communicate user engagement metrics for Kohler Co. employer brand and digital recruiting sites and social media campaigns, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Careers website, and intranet sites.

  • Assist in the development of regular and ad hoc reports detailing key insights and recommendations for a variety of audiences.

  • Research new and remain up to date with current digital and social technology best practices in order to identify new opportunities

 for Kohler Co. to create bold distinction in the employer brand and recruitment marketing space.

  • Analyze trends, conduct research, report findings and make recommendations for continuous improvement of marketing strategies across all Kohler Co. employer brand and digital recruiting platforms.

  • Skills/Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or military experience.

    • HR and/or recruiting experience preferred.

    • 4-6 years' experience in recruitment marketing or social media role.

    • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and make leading recommendations.

    • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools.

    • Excellent writing, presentation and general communication skills (both verbal and written).

    • Strong working knowledge of MS office suite, particularly Excel.

    • Consistent attention to detail and quality.

    • Proactive, quick learner, willing to take ownership of assignments and see through to successful completion.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as a team member, while  using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.

    • Calm and productive under pressure; sense of urgency and prioritization.

    • SharePoint and video/design experience a plus.
