Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Instructor includes:

Assist with and/or develop course outlines and all materials for attainment of objectives, based on program outcomes and student learning outcomes. Assist with and/or establish objectives for clinical and laboratory learning experiences. Select, facilitate and evaluate clinical learning experiences. Evaluate student progress toward attainment of learning objectives. Teach assigned formal classes or specific units of the course and/or laboratory class. Maintain professional growth and development pertinent to educational responsibilities.
• Work collaboratively with Administration, Lead Teacher, Faculty, Medical Center Staff, affiliating agencies to optimize student learning. Follow School policies and procedures. Participate in faculty organization meetings, committees and school activities. Complete E-learning and Healthstream. Participate in peer review and mentorship program.


• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.


• Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

• Current and Valid NJ RN License


• Masters Degree in Nursing



• Doctorate preferred




• Minimum of 2 years active nursing experience, preferably in nursing education
