Job Description:

Overall Purpose:

Liaison between Business partners and IT partners (architects, ITO, communication services, and IT application development groups) for strategic planning and developing solutions based on the understanding of current needs and future direction of the Business and IT.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assesses strategic plans, evaluates technology issues, and creates strategic roadmap for applications and systems based on long term direction of the business and technology.
  • Promote innovative thinking, solutions, and improvements throughout the Business partners and IT organizations to the benefit of ATT.
  • Represents business client view of system health and end to end service quality and refers service improvement or other problem management chronic issues to appropriate team for resolution.
  • Coordinates, tracks, monitors, and plans initiatives across functional entity lines.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting against overall IT portfolio, analyzing metrics, schedules, resource allocation and assignment, budget, critical path analysis, methodology, coordination, evaluating funding, and translating needs into cost-effective and innovative solutions from ideation through delivery and into production.
  • In collaboration with product team and various platform organizations, evaluate/manage the overall transformation journey in support of all strategic products.
  • Create the overall strategy, schedule, and align realization team’s deliverable/schedule with the platform teams.
  • Identify and resolve any major obstacles with support from all the key stakeholders.
  • Ensure products are properly supported in the new platform, and facilitate the transition from PMO to FMO as new platform matures.

Experience:

Typically requires 10+ years’ experience. Very deep understanding on Enterprise Networking area, and key products in support of AT&T Business will be a major plus

Required Qualifications -
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • 8-10 years experience in technology development.
Desired Qualifications -
  • Knowledge of IT architecture.
  • Knowledge of Network Management Systems.
  • Experience in software design and development.
  • Knowledge of Vendor Management (feature roadmap, priorities, requirements, negotiations, bugs, maintenance releases, quality).
  • Experience in Wireless Technologies
  • Experience in Network Management (operation support, performance, troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, protocols).
